Question regarding BitCoin GPU Mining

Hello everyone and I hope you're all doing well. While I've read quite a lot about BitCoin's and Crypto Currency's in general, I have no experience with mining and would like to get some input from those more experienced. I've been reading a lot about GPU mining and from what I understand the higher "GH/s" you have the better chance you have of earning BitCoin's. In one of my computers, I have 2 Nvidia GTX 780 TI's running in SLI and was wondering how well/effective it would be to mine with these cards. Is there a way to determine what my hash rate would be?

The reason I'm asking is because these two cards were very expensive and I'm sure mining would put a lot of wear & tear on them and I want to know how much potential I'd have to make money mining with these cards. Any input or suggestions would be appreciated!

ITs too difficult to mine BTC with GPU's these days due to all the people running ASIC miners. You would probably be better off trying primecoin, litecoin or dogecoin. Only way you will know your speed is to try it out and see how it does.

That was my concern. A lot of people are using ASIC miners or dedicated miners which is making it much more difficult. Thanks that pretty much answered my question(s).

I have little eperience with mining crypto coins. I am trying to mine dogecoins and as i switched some pools, i can say that hash rate varies from pool to pool. I would suggest you go for dogecoin, as they are easily farmed, and can be sold through their site even more easily.

Good idea but problem is that you have big companies in it now setting up whole shops for nothing but mining BTC for
everything it is worth. Long ago not many big players were mining it but now unless you want to spend tons of money to get
started there really is no profit just wear and tear on your graphics cards.

Everyone already hit the nail on the head. Do a quick google search for mining hardware comparison chart and you should find a big list of every graphics card out there with hashing rate and other relevant mining information.

Your cards might make ROI on scrypt mining if you pick your coins right, but I doubt it. Don't listen to Admirus; he has no idea what he's talking about.
