Question Regarding Backlink Purchasing

Hi everyone,

I’m fairly new to SEO and had a quick question. I’ve built an information focused real estate website to help local buyers and sellers as an agent, but I currently don’t have many backlinks.

I’ve tried HARO without much success and recently started looking into link building marketplaces. In your experience, do these actually make a noticeable difference for SEO?

Also, is it more important to get backlinks from real estate related websites, or do links from other industries (like eCommerce) still help?

If you have never purchased links before then start by buying Wikipedia link(not the Wikipedia image , avoid image links).

real estate is a brutal industry, you'll need to align a lot of stuff with each other in order to rank, and backlinks are just one of those elements...

ideally, your best backlinks should indeed come from sites (or pages, not necessarily sites) that are at least closely related to real estate (it doesn't need to be real estate specifically, it can be home staging, motels, even travel-related sites / pages if the intent of the content relates to real estate in some way... even insurance-related content can give you a good link if the insurance is about home insurance for example... the main point is that you need to match the intent of the page where the link comes from with the intent of the page on your site where you point that link so that google can see the relevance between the 2 pages).

But even so, your site needs to be helluva authoritative and trustworthy, and for that it needs to have a ton of quality links, extremely good content that people gobble up, you also need to target very low competition keywords (so you can have a chance to get some quick and easy rankings and traffic while your site builds up its authority and trust), you also need great internal linking... well, ok, these are the typical things that you would do for a content site anyway, but I still wanted to mention them

The best approach for trying to rank your site is to simply hire a professional to audit your niche, keywords, and site, and come up with a plan for the steps that you need to take to rank that website, as I have a feeling that you're newbie and you might have even not created the site according to google's specifications, which means that you're not going to rank no matter what.

Or, you can find a cheap offer for Ahrefs / Semrush accounts, plop the main keywords of your site into those tools and analyze the crap out of the sites and pages that are ranking on google's 1st page for those keywords, and then try to mimic what those sites / pages do in terms of authority, content, backlinks, etc. and hopefully, within 3-4 months you manage to rank for some easy keywords if you do the right things well...

marketplaces can help, but quality varies. some sites have real traffic, others are just link farms. for real estate, relevant links from property blogs or local sites usually help more than random industries. a mix of niche and diversified backlinks tends to look more natural and build authority over time.

1. Avoid SEO packages in the marketplace, those are profiles, web2, etc, they won't move the needle.
2. Ideally, go after the links on real estate related sites, at least choose sites which already have many real estate related articles (even if they are general).
3. If it's a new site, start very slow with links and concentrate on social media, maybe reddit as well.
