Question Regarding Affiliate Redirection

Can i redirect a page of my blog to the affiliate link?
Does this count as getting traffic from my blog and not the social media i'm using to get them traffic?

In case i post about a product on facebook and post a link[my blog] to the product in the description.
And i redirect that link [my blog] to the affiliate link, do things workout this way?

You're find doing that, if I understand you correctly.

You post on FB about a great new product, read more here > this link takes you to your blog. On the blog post is the write up and the link there is your affiliate link.

that is right, some affiliates don't promote traffic from youtube for example, and youtube probably doesn't allow affiliate links either.

What my question is, when i post myblog .com in the description, clicking myblog .com redirects you to myafflink .com

Does this count as traffic from my blog or traffic from youtube?
If ever affiliate managers find out that the traffic isn't from my blog but from other sources, i might not get my money.

Can i do this redirection? direct link to the affiliate but through my blog?

I think what he is saying is the link looks like it takes them to his blog, but it actually takes them directly to the affiliate product.

Which platform are you wanting to do this on?

If you have a legit blog, and good articles then it would make more sense to land the person to your blog and let them follow the link.
 
Cloaking is always best to get traffic and safe domain to Facebook policy
 
i am about to sign up with a clothing affiliate, i can make a good looking blog in a day.

But, this isn't 2012. People are too impatient these days to get redirected to a blog and then click the link which redirects to the aff.

i want to make it one step short, it should look like traffic is from my blog to the company, but the people who click my link should be redirected directly to the affiliate.

The blog stays there, getting updated regularly, making it look legit.

Hmmm, Well, depending on the affiliate program have you asked whether they have an issue with social traffic?

For clothing, I should imagine they won't have an issue with it. Facebook will scan your landing page though, so you may need to look into cloaking.
 
I'm into Pinterest as of now.
Facebook is a pain these days.

The affiliate asks for a link to the social platform/ wesbsite.
In the social platform section only tumblr, facebook and blog are mentioned.

So if i link them my blog, shouldn't i also make it look like the traffic is from my blog?
Even though i'm copy pasting affiliate links on pinterest.
Avoiding unnecessary landing pages.
