Question: Rankings have dropped, typical google sandbox?

I have a fairly new domain maybe a couple weeks old, I filled it up with content and started building out a few quality contexual links per day with GSA SER. With a domain that is 10 days old it jumped up to #33 for my main money term and 2 days later rankings have dropped completely.

Is this typical to see because of the google sandbox? Are rankings expected to increase back after a few weeks?
Any input appreciated, thanks.

As you said your domain is very fresh, just couple of weeks old and this drop could be due to a typical google dance or the current delay applied to all new domains. So, I would suggest to wait it out.

Also, if it's me, I wouldn't send GSA links to a 2 weeks domain. But if your method works, good for you :)
 
Hi mate, This is normal. You should see quite a bit of movement in the 1st few weeks. This time can be stressful but you have to let time pass. I've had sites dance (I prefer google dance to sandbox) for up to 6 weeks then disappear from the serps completely only to reappear at no1. spot and it still hasn't moved. Keep your nerve and keep doing what your doing. Don't blast 1000's of shitty links at it but by the sounds of it your not doing that anyway.
 
Thanks for the quick helpful replies, I know a lot of people are against using GSA for tier 1 links but I think if you are experienced enough with the software there is a safe way to do things with it. Yea that's what I thought, I will keep the same pace on my link building and add more content, cheers.
 
I'm in the same boat as you. I am ranking for a ton of long tails and then every other day my main keyword pops in at 20-30 and then drips out a few hours later.
 
That's called a google dance. They'll stabilize within a month hopefully, but my personal sites usually reach their maximum ranking potential (with the given SEO campaign) after several months.
 
well if you suddenly loose all your keyword rankings that means Google dancing. Keep doing quality work. You will definitely get back all your rankings.
 
thats dancing... or probably honeymoon effect..

Just keep building links daily at minimal rate at make sure that your links being indexed..
 
As others said, continue link building, you will get alot of dance, it will settle down and start holding their position
