[Question] Pinterest Traffic + Optin Page = ??

I would like to ask experienced Pinterest users.

Is it any viable to drive traffic from Pinterest to a squeeze page with nothing but an optin form to collect emails? Will it work?

Right now from what I understand you are supposed to have blog posts to drive traffic with your pins to.

And if you have an optin page only, then you can't just make hundreds of the same pins and pin them to the group boards.

What are your thoughts on this?

I suppose that it depends on what they're opting in to. One of my food blogs have a feedburner widget that I don't promote. It gets a handful of subscribers a week. Meanwhile, in the same blogs, I've prominently pushed various email submits from Peerfly (over 500 clicks sent) with no conversion.

Some of them. I asked Peerfly aff managers for recommendation and it included food-related offers such as grocery gift and restaurant gift cards. Also pushed beauty and travel offers. Pretty much anything that would interest a woman. Not giving up on email submit. Recent display is for sweepstake. Again, clicks, no conversion.
