Question on xxx domain

123-reg.co.uk is having a 86% discount on .xxx domains and I was wondering can you rank well on google with .xxx domain if it didn't have any backlinks and was a EMD? since .xxx is a domain extension for porn would it be hard to rank on google since google filters porn sites?

You can find .XXX cheaper on mrdomain.com for 7.95 euros + 21% VAT or Godaddy for $14.99 using coupon gd3516a or Dynadot for $9.99 using coupon xxx or domainmonster.com for 9.99 GBP too.
As for ranking I'd say it's as hard as any other domain extension to rank. I have .pl and .info's ranked better than .com's so it all depends on the work you put into it. Google does not filter porn sites unless you are logged into the Google account and have safe search enabled. Otherwise sites are listed in searches. Also whoever searches for porn will disable Safesearch.

stay away from .xxx if you are looking for ranking. even most adult sites refrain from using that domain!

and you know how much google loves its 'safe search' which is automatically enabled until settings are changed.
