Hey guys,

Quick question for any of you who know about SMS marketing. Many offline businesses have the cell phone numbers of their customers or clients.

Are there services in Canada or the US that allow you to send bulk texts?

For example, you could SMS coupons for retail stores, or specials for restaurants once in a while or whatever really.

And I was thinking that people could signup either via a form and they tick the box to say they would like to get texts or don't mind getting texts to that number for special coupons.

I can think of a couple other ways for the biz to get people's #s as well (WH).

Do any of you know of any services that can do this and what the rules are in terms of SMSing /"opt-in". For example if they can just tick a box and allow themselves to be SMSed rather than texting a "code" to a number and having to go through all that work?

Thanks!

They are out there for sure, but they are expensive.

I have an unlimited SMS messaging service for the USA and its fully opt-in. PM if your interested ...
