Question on Torrents and Proxies

Hey guys i bought a private proxy from a reputable seller here and i checked it and it was ok but when i downloaded a movie on piratebay they still traced me to my comcast account how can that be? i used utorrent application and also a fresh chrome incognito window w/proxy too

can someone please tell me how can I verify if my utorrent program on my computer is really using the proxy I program it with inside Options?

Google "torguard checkmytorrentip" and use their free torrent ip checker. I'd link to it but I can't. It's basically a torrent you download and it says in the tracker status what your IP is.

Get a good Socks 5 and you shouldn't have any trouble if you configure it correctly. If you do, just go with a VPN. It'll slow things down a bit, but it wont' reveal your default IP.
