I have recently purchased Scrapebox. Looks like a powerful software. I am new to it. I would like to ask when posting comments on Wordpress I see that the comments status in Scrapebox says the comennt has been posted but I do not see the comments. Is that because the comments need to be approved by the website owner before they are posted. If that is the case than any affiliates link related comments would be hard to stick. Is there a way to search for sites that have auto approval or there is a better way to post comments using Scrapebox. Any tip would be nice.

That's what I do:
1. grab as many Worpress urls as possible (leave my laptop for one night harvesting from a list of more then 100k keywords). I use 30 proxies and maximum 12 connections to one search engine.
2. Scrapebox crashes in the morning, but in harvester sessions folder I have about 6-7 files wiith urls (about 70 mb each).
3. I import every one of this lists to scrapebox and remove duplicate domains (and save each files separatly)
4. I import all removed from duplicates lists together and remove duplicate domains once again.
It gives me about 300k domains. Then I start second part of my work:
1. I import my urls list and start do follow / no follow link checker, with no proxy (don't need it) and 50 connections. As a result (it takes about 24 hours) it gives me about 5% do follow blogs and 95% no follow blogs.
2. I export only do follow blogs list and post it with fast commenter (proxy, 5 connections max) and then the rest of it with slow commenter (another 24h).
3. When it's done I use Scrapebox Free links checker with no proxy and 25 connections (just less then one hour) and export all url's with published comments - only about 3% of them.
4. I import them to Scaprbox and trim to root.
- It takes me one week for one session, but I harvest about 500 up to 1000 unique urls of Worpress blogs with do follow links and not moderated comments.
- I also do it with BlogEngine Blogs, but it's much easier, because I don't need to check if links are do follow or no follow which takes a lot of time.
- I don't do it with Movable Type blogs, because it's not worth it. 99,9% of them are moderated and no follow.

thanks intruder2600, I've been tinkering with scrapebox for a while now trying to find the best way to use it, that gives me some ideas.
all the private proxies I've tried so far have been banned by akismet before I even start using them, so auto-posting to moderated blogs seems pointless.
I've seen other posters suggest using it to find high PR blogs and manually post relevant comments, however that seems less interesting to me than nearly anything else I could do to build my business.

I've commented on both, and gotten results from both. Indexed can hvae more weight and link juice, a lot depends on whether you want to go broad spectrum or pinpoint precision.
Indexed is probably not the strongest metric for targetting, actually. PR, Alexa, OBL addon tests will give you higher grade targets.
Could I use scrape box to get all the email links from a certain section of CL?? Like jobs for instance, if I went to a section in jobs could I grab all the reply-to links from that section. Its not for spam, its for personal time-saving use.

aki$met bans on a mix of factors - IP, backlink(s) dropped, name, email, and patterns in comments. There are other factors (you drop 30 comments on 30 different posts on the same blog in 3 minutes, and I'm guessing that's a banning)...
I wouldn't waste time trying to hork a competitor, you never know when you're horking a fellow bhw member and you're better off spending your time, energy, and intellect on building yourself up rather than tearing down another. Just a thought, not a sermon....

If your site gets listed by akismet, what I usually do is switch to posting to movable type and blogengine blogs because nobody really uses it outside of wordpress installs

Umm unless I'm mistaken when akismet bans a site all that means is the plugin on the individual's site flags the site and the site owner can choose to allow the comment or not. That's how my wp blog works anyway. If someone's site is on the akismet server and they post a comment, it pops up asking what to do with the comment....
Well i think its 2 different steps here about Akismet. It seems like there is a lightweight ban and some sort of heavier ban.
Because sometimes the comment stick on Akismets list on what to do with it (not sure this is akismet doing it, i t could be wp core that block any comment with an url etc in it) and a heavier ban that simply removes the comment before it reaches the blog Aka you will never see it.
