hi, so this may be a noob question. but when i take pictures from other instagram users for my accounts can i not get in trouble for copyright. sorry if its a really noob question

This is a good question, from what I have read in the forum, it varies.
Some users prefer to prevent any potential problems and always credit the authors and some just don't care.
I have personally ripped hundreds of pics, with no credit given and I am still up and running,
but Instagram changes everyday, so keep your eyes open

there's a possibilty of getting banned but so far, it's kinda very, very low possibility.

the possibility grow with every picture you steal. giving credit is also not a way out since you need a permission from the owner. so, if you get reported several times, you can say goodbye to your account

Copyright or not, someone will eventually report you and get your account banned.

Has happened to me several times in the past.
