Question on Keyword Density

1 to 2% is the ideal KW density for a page.
However, it may differ according to the usage in the content, but it should not exceed 3% to avoid KW stuffing!

Less than 3 % of keyword density is good to go.

Keyword have to fit the content naturally and make it readable. You can also try to use different variation of keywords.

there's no specific keyword density that's considered "optimum" for a homepage or any other page on your website.
Instead of focusing on hitting a specific keyword density, you should focus on creating high-quality, informative content that's optimized for your target keywords. Use your target keywords naturally throughout your content, but don't overdo it or your content will read poorly and not be helpful for your users.

If you feel like you must follow a certain density, just see what ranks and follow theirs.
Honestly, you shouldn't focus on that anymore. Google learned to read lately and they understand what you write even if your keyword density is not exactly 1.83%.

You should use the main keyword according to the content and not according to what the standard SEO practice states because it is just a very very small factor for ranking.

For a homepage, there is no specific density of keywords. Your main motive is concentrate on your content with high quality.

You can pick about the same as your competition or vary it upwards or downwards. One of those 3 will give you a good result and everything else you must apply to your site. Like everyone many years back, I used to write to a specific density for certain keywords. But I think google now reads and looks for common sense density, where it would come up in the same conversational aspects.

So if your site is finished, and you're ultimately looking for more traffic, and your backlinks and content update isn't working, try changing something dramatically like the layout style of the homepage and or even the theme. Think like the programmer of google! lol

Remember the russian search engine leak? think that any of the square roots of the sum of some of those parts could change the ranking. (Whatever that means to an algorithm understander I would like to know! :D ) But even with google, it is just about unlocking the right combinations of whatever fits in around your content, that it will also use to rank you. That is as much a unique fingerprint I think as your fingertips!

Nice one

To me, Keyword density is irrelevant now. Search engines are too smart to handle it. Moreover, you might end up losing rankings if you stuff the keyword by breaking the natural flow of the content.
When you are writing an article, think of Audience. Think about it from their point of view. What they want, and what they are looking for, and answer their queries in the best way possible without dragging. Just make sure you're keeping them engaged.
While using keywords make sure you are using them in the title, first para, and subheadings. This should help you!
Just Keep it NATURAL.

instead of focusing on a specific keyword density for the homepage or any other page, it's important to create high-quality content that is user-friendly, relevant, and valuable, and incorporates keywords naturally in a way that provides value to users. Following best practices for content creation and on-page SEO will help you optimize your homepage and other pages for better search engine rankings.

Do 1 to 2% of the Keyword for a page.

What is the optimum keyword density for homepage?
There is no optimum keyword density for a homepage as it depends on various factors such as the length of the content, the type of content, the target audience, and the purpose of the page. It's more important to focus on creating high-quality content that provides value to the reader rather than trying to hit a specific keyword density. However, as a general guideline, as most of the people already answered here, it's recommended to keep the keyword density between 1-2% to avoid over-optimization and potential penalties from search engines.

There's no such thing as the perfect keyword density for any page on your website. Sure, you gotta use relevant keywords, but it's just as important to write some quality content that your readers will actually enjoy. Don't go stuffing your content with too many keywords, though, or it could mess up your SEO and make you look like a spammer. Instead, just use keywords naturally, in a way that makes sense and actually adds value to your readers.
