I am planning to get hostgator hosting, can i pay using VCC?

Just to let you know hostgator sometimes terminates your hosting for no reason.
Make sure you get a decent and reliable host. Just because hostgator are well known doesnt mean they're the best + You can get cheaper hosting from other companys.

Go with offshore if any thoughts with using a VCC.
I believe VCCs can't be used for recurring payments, so keep that in mind where ever you choose.
Side note: I would also agree with caution towards Hostgator. I've done extensive research on web hosts and while Hostgator received a lot of praise, they also received a lot of complaints. If you didn't need to use support and just used a minimum or resources, you'd fly okay under their radar. However, if you actually tried to use unlimited bandwidth or disk space, or needed support, you were in for a whole different ballgame.
