    Hi,
New to wordpress and there is PLENTY of brainpower in this forum so i thought i'd ask here..

What would be the easiest way to take a wordpress theme, modify it for the customer, then instead of hosting it myself...sending the finished product to the customer so they can host wherever?

    THANKS!!

So i cannot do all of this offline i assume?
What if i get a hostgator account, install the theme there and edit the theme but not sure how i would then take all the necessary files to send to the end buyer?

i'm really new to wordpress, like haven't setup one on a server yet.
i googled how to move a theme from one server to another and the guy who answered said it wasn't that easy.

the guy who answered then is an idiot. It is easy as hell. Your themes are in a subfolder, usually ../wp-content/themes/.. . Just zip the theme up, download it to your comp, then upload it to the new server. Unzip, pick it as the theme from the wp admin panel, and you are done.
