Question on Backlinks !

Hi Guys,

I am trying to bring up a new sharing site for music and streaming videos...

we are still working on it.... is right to take a back-link blast in the initial stages... to help improve rankings and other stuff ?

If the site is up and Google started indexing pages you can get some backlinks, but don't overdo it

i saw this service at BHW for 5$ and 10k backlinks... i hope all backlinks do not get discovered at once ? would it be good enough ?

How old is your domain name ? In my opinion .. you should get your pages indexed in google first ! After they are indexed you can choose a bookmarking service of 20 - 50 backlinks max a day for 2-3 days ! After that you should wait a week and see how your website is ranking ! Then you can start build more backlinks . But remeber ... You should have all types of backlinks .. not only bookmarking !That's what I do to all of my websites and I have pretty nice results ! hmmm .. the domain was purchased approximately... a week back... the site is to be a witin a week... and then wel will be working on full swing... for my existing sites as well i do loads of social bookmarking.... and yes it does delivers automatic search engine traffic.....

Hello, I ranked very well for my first site with just a link wheel alone. I think you should make a link wheel, submit the urls to social bookmarks and start blasting one spoke daily with TLPC (i think it can be downloaded on this site) as well as this you should do some manual blog commenting on high pr do follow, high pr no follow blogs, .edu blogs and .gov blogs. Article submissions with contextual back links and directory submissions. After a while, if you are not ranking well, create a tier 2 layer on top of your link wheel, bookmark all of the urls and start blasting that with TLPC.
