I am using wp-o-matic to automatically add content to my blog. Question is, is it ok to mark the admin as the author of the post, or should credit be given to the original writer. And are there any risks of marking the admin as author of the content? If so, please list

Well, this depends where your content is from and if you have to care about copyright infringements.

In my country/propably in all Europe it would absolutely not help to put the author's name under the ariticle. It is still copyright infringement.

What I did: I tried to take content from US-sites only. Or I used spinned content.
What I do now: I use articles from free article directories.

If you are in Europe/US and want to be sure that copyright infringement/a cease and desist letter does not eventually financially kill you you might want to found a company to be on the safe side.

I would definitely look into what cooookies (gosh that was too many o's lol ) suggested as you do not want to get into trouble for something like this it will not be worth it
