I'm using Elite L1 proxies yet some sites still know my real IP address. I've also disabled the use of javascript. How do I prevent some of these sites from seeing my real IP address?

Try disabling the use of any java applets loading too. If their not finding out your IP through java then it could possibly be the program you are using that is not configuring your pc to use the proxies or the proxies themselves sending your real IP through the header requests.

Check the anonymity of your proxy at
Code:
http://www.ip.cc/anonymity-test.php

Elite is just a buzzword, the only thing that matters are if you're anonymous or not. HTTP proxies are less reliable than Socks because of the way they enwrap the connection, try it with Socks. If you have a specific area you want expanded on, ask or search the bloody proxy forum.

proxies change from time to time.

meaning, if it started as an elite, it could go to transparent in a matter of minutes.

Thanks for all the replies so far. When I use an http proxy, for the most part when I do have a working one, there are no problems. I can go to most sites and I do see that my IP is masked. However there is one site in particular that still sees my real IP even though other sites see the proxy. I'll try SOCKs and see if that helps. I'll also try to disable java applets. Any other thoughts would be appreciated and thanks again for all the help!
