Question: Mute Follow Method in your Feed

Hi BHW,

Various Instagram automation services claim that they can utilize the follow method for your Instagram account without it messing up your feed or even notifying you (being invisible one service claimed). How is this accomplished? Are they muting the user after they follow them and then unmuting? or does anyone have an idea on what is actually being done here to keep your follows off your own feed.

Yeah I always use it. It's to simply keep your feed quite.
Saves a lot of data/bandwidth/resources and makes the accounts a little bit faster.

Thanks k3ygen, does this affect the amount of actions you can do a day? Also, as far as saving data/bandwidth/resources.. do you mean on jarvee since it is limiting the amount of data or something else? thanks!
 
I noticed no difference, maybe there is.
Yes Jarvee uses less RAM & bandwidth while scraping & browsing.
 
Has anyone else tried the muting option? If so, have you noticed a difference as far as how Instagram treats your account?
 
I use the mute after follow option but some customers complained about they see lot of profiles they don't want in their feed, I realized that Jarvee cannot mute private users since the private user has to approve the follow request first and then can be muted so I'm running the mute tool with the source "mute users followed by Jarvee" and it is muting private users that accepted the request.

My question is, what could be the limit to not cross with this muting actions? I'm muting new followings after follow and private users with mute tool doing around 70 mute actions per hour.
 
Just mute on 99% so it won't look too bot, this is one of the reason I abounded web bot to phone bot.
