Question: Making an optimized website

Hey I'm new here and have a question. I've written a couple SEO articles for peope on Fiverr and have done a little bit of article marketing, but I am now making my first website. I know having keyword rich content is how to get ranked highly on Google.

My problem is I have a 3 word (longtailed) keyword that will be the focus of the website. As an example lets say it is "SEO Success Statistics". Would it be OK to instead of trying to work that word in every so often into you could just make a lot of different posted saying "Presented by SEO Success Statistics"?

Are you in anyway penalized for this? I hope you can understand what I'm trying to ask, the question is basically can i brand my website as the keyword instead of using the keyword in the content as its defined meaning?

You don't need to go overboard with the keyword. If you can get it in the url that's top priority. Second get it in an h1 tag and then again in an h2 tag. After that 1-2% in the body of text is all you need on site. What will really make it rank though will be getting tons of INDEXED inbound links with the keyword you want in the anchor text for 80% of the links.

Inbound links are just backlinks right? I'm new to this online vocabulary.

You use Internet Business Promoter (IBP) software for finding how to optimise your website. They will create the report and tell you how to optimise and where you are doing wrong which google and other SE can't indexing or rank problem. I think this software is available on this forum.

If you are writing some articles, publishing on other article sites with the footnote presented by seo success statistics, with the terms serving as the anchor link pointing back to your main site, then yes you can do so.

You can use the term " seo success statistics " as the name when you comment on other people blog post.

You can use the term " seo success statistics " as the profile name on the social media sites.

Just make sure it serves as the link pointing back to the site.

That way you get most of your back links with the term " seo success statistics " and hence will help you rank for the term.

Of course, still using the term in the home page title, if it is relevant to the website pretty much helps you ranking for the term.

I wasn't really talking about writing articles directing back to the site, I was saying using the phrase (SEO Success Statistics) as a company name/brand on the site whether than how it is used phonetically.
