Question: Local SEO Map Stacking For Google Maps Pack

I am quite new to technical SEO stuff but I found Map Stacking & I wanted to ask if you could share with me the best guides there are out there!
I found THIS but more information is more information
From what I've seen, map stacking like this is losing its power. There are a lot of other things I would do before this.

I am past that, that is why I am asking for map stacking, I got a client #1 locally for a amazing keyword and I want to expand his field with map stacking

Ok, yeah if you've done the rest you can start map stacking.
As far as guides, I don't think there really are many. The site you linked to explained it pretty well, it's basic stuff.
Have you tried sending out Press Releases with embeded driving directions from nearby cities/landmarks?

I've done PR but not with embedded driving directions, shit why didn't I think of that.

Would be interested too. Need to rank up a local business of a friend.
So far I know these are the most important parts of local SEO:
- Local citations ( NAP consistent)
- GMB optimization
- Driving directions
PS: You can also adjust your competitors GMB listings and make them go down the ranks

If you visit Google and click on maps you can search for a business name. Once you find your business name then add a starting location. Once you click directions you will see a button that says share. Click on share - embed and you will now have the embed code to place on third party sites.

Nah, Google stacks don't work nearly as well as they used to. They're pretty much useless now.

They are working fine, only you have to add other links with Google stacks.
For Google Map stacking.. At first create high quality custom with detail informations, then you need to embed that map google property like google cloud, blogger, document etc. You also need to do google map citation and you can do layer 2 web 2.0 for these links with your custom embed map.
