    What do you recommend a tool for doing keyword research? Is Market Samurai still effective?

    Thanks!

    I haven't heard from market samurai in a long time so I can't speak to that but my personal favorites are using SEM rush and then cross-referencing with longtail Pro I also have two more tools but those two are the most common I use if both tools tell me the key word is good I go with it. mmy other two are keyword revealer and keyword tool.io

    Although you can use tools for parts of it I don't beleive in KC scores and the like as you have no control of the algo that churns out the actual score. For example, a tool can say a keyword is low comp but there are a wide spread of methods all with different definitions of low competition. Most the keyword tools I am aware of havent even taken the time to upgrade their systems to getting the real search volume from Google anymore, to me that says alot about how much they value their clients.....

    Anyway, I explained my full keyword research method in this post and it can be completed 100% free provider you are willing to put the time in.

    I use LTP to get a rough list, go to ahrefs and plug the keywords in to see the keyword difficulty. Do a double check on semrush with the final list.

    Long Tail Pro is best to use and it's cheap too. Use SEMrush to check what your competitor site ranks for.

    kwfinder FTW! It's a paid platform but it sure get the job done. Also semrush to check what are the keywords your competitor have.

    You can try SEMrush and KWfinder for keyword research. Both are good.

    Various tools out there. I personally don't use LTP any longer, lost faith in it last year.

    I highlighted how some give different results here in a review of a service;

    https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/z...on-keyword-service.925993/page-2#post-9873902

    This gives an idea of some of the tools I use and how they show results.

    EDIT:
    I edited your crappy attempt above to insert a link, which hopefully will get you banned.
