[Question] Is there good blogging software?

Greetings,

I've read these forums now for pretty much a year and being a lazy son of a bitch I've just recently decided for a method. My questions:

1. Is there any good blogging software out there? One that can create blogs, and that I can post via.

I'm seeking to create maybe 15 blogs in a single niche and then promoting a larger website via this. Could I get a good spot in Google doing this? The market isn't too huge.

I think 99% of people here use Wordpress, it's not too hard setting up 15 blogs and promoting from them. I'm personally a fan of doing it manually so you have full control; Mikeman (prolific earner) doesn't fully automate things, either.

If you're any good at programming, you can use XMLRPC in Wordpress to more easily push posts to your blogs.
