I've made money in the very first week of my foray into affiliate marking, that's easy. Making any real amount of money though? I can already tell that it will be months before I made anything above a $5/week

Its very hard for me i never been success with any make money on internet
i tried a lot different methods but lot failed and ban burn money on spend ad things,
but nobody help me .....

It take me 2 to 3 years to get first money in hand... No resources at all that time. No money to invest etc.

I think it's hard till you get the hang of it, and then it's even tougher to maintain it! If you can have multiple income streams, and an operation that expands and maintains them profitably, then you're home dry. That's what you need to get started and survive long term. It can take years to get the knowledge you need for all of this. That's what I found, and I had a few businesses, but ultimately lost them through bad management, so now my 6.0 version has built on everything that has gone before to take that experience and bundle it up into current and future success.

It's hard if you don't learn and adapt from your failures. That is what I have noticed about a lot of people claiming they haven't made money and have been doing this for X amount of time. You have to experiment and find what works and what doesn't in your particular niche and monetization strategy. For instance I have been writing a programming blog for some time now to chronicle my own growth and journey but it started to get a lot of attention. Instead of making putting ads on the site I am now publishing 5 articles a week 3 of which are pay walled. It has turned out quite well actually.

Yes, money is hard to make, But It depends. If you want to earn money online by working for someone else, then no, it’s not hard.
You need to be able to sell yourself and do it in an honest manner.
If you are thinking to start your own company, then yes it's not much easier. But there are ways to make money if you have the passion and you learn how.
If you are thinking to invest in something that returns a profit, you have to:
1) find something that will also have a demand in the future,
2) provide that product or service at cost (or at least less), and
3) convince people to buy it.
This isn't easy. It's hard to make money in the first place if you don't know what to do with it.
You need to be able to sell yourself and do it in an honest manner.

"Hard" is subjective. If you compared working online "hard" with the physical labor our parents and grandparents endure to get money, then, it wouldn't be that "hard" does it?
From my perspective, if you're willing to put some time and effort (and preferably money too) you will definitely make money online and it wouldn't be that hard. But if you're lazy, then of course it would be hard, not just to make money but to get anything worth having in life, including a great body, good social life...

It is not hard to make money. It is often hard to make money doing something you enjoy on a schedule you set yourself at a rate that makes you happy.

The first few dollars are hard because you haven't acquired enough skills and resources to make it easy. But I find once the necessary skills and resources are acquired, it's not too hard from there.
