[Question] Is FaceBook "Tell Your Friends" Still working?

On a FB fan page you have the option to got to "Edit Page" > "Marketing" > "Tell Your Friends" > Then load emails and invite people to your page. The options is there, but I see multiple discussions on BHW saying various things about it working, not working and even pages getting banned.

Anyone have a definitive answer?

As far as I can tell there is no definitive answer to this... I've been staying current on this for a while now, and it's exactly like you said - some people claim results, while others have horror stories.

The link to it disappeared on one of my page that when beyond 5k fans, but then returned when I trimmed the spammers and it fell under 5k. It's obviously still active but many people are reporting that the invites aren't sent.

Also was wonder how you would scrape the emails from similar groups to use with this feature.

It literally disappeared? I've never really heard of that happening, except when FB was making their update.

Yupp, the invites not sending are the main issue... The only way to scrape emails is to friend the user first, then scrape.

invites do get send i sell accts and i know a lot of people who have this working for them without a issue
