Question involving backlinks and clickbank?

so i am new to affiliate marketing, i was just wondering if using an indexer such as indexkings or instant indexer works if you just throw your affiliate link from the click bank product in, or would a better more direct approach be to develop a blogger site or something along those lines and index that instead? thanks for the help -some noob
