[Question] Instagram Monetization Options

Hi all,

I own a music production IG profile with over 300k followers. I built them organically and at the moment I am monetizing with shoutouts and I sell few eBooks I wrote on the topic.

My question will be: What are other good monetization ways for Instagram except for shouts and eCommerce?

eCommerce is a large word, so most of the monetization methods would be include in this.

Also, did you already work with other brands ? It can often be a win-win situation, to multiply your earnings

If I were you, I would create a course or master class and promote it through your big Ig audience. Lately, with all the Clubhouse app hype and other master classes based businesses popping out, it seems like a very good and stable business model. I would also suggest you to go for some affiliate marketing, might be a good idea.

launch diff things through the audience:
- streaming playlists on the diff services (spotify, etc) < charge people for slots
- sell a product . make something catchy and flip it like a fashionable t-shirt
- believe it or not.. TRY TO CREATE AN NFT and sell it to the audience. Why not? It's free to you and NFT algorithms are young/exploitable
- Launch a reddit sub with those users for sure
- I would create a Youtube channel & videos repeating information.. like a podcast setup maybe.
- Create a forum that people can join and try to build the audience on that site... throw some ads on it.. flip it
- Sell shout outs
- Commission links weekly. Shout out an Amazon book or something
- Get people to sign up for services that they need and will give you commission (coinbase, tunecore, etc)
- start doing interviews with artists and down the line you will make money off the content; just chop it up like VladTV

I tried affiliate marketing, but it didn't worked out for my audience. Tried several channels, but no success.

I really have nothing to offer on Patreon at this stage. I give free knowledge on the IG and sell in-depth details in the eBooks.

Thanks for the suggestion! I will sway away from shoutouts because I noticed the lowered reach on shoutouts, but actually I can sell music production services and promote them trough my page.

I have a linktree I made on my web in the link in bio. Works very good at this stage - people are going to my links.

Yes, I still have the page and I built it in around 2 years. I think the secret sauce is posting every day, unique content only.

I will update from time to time to let you know if I made any progress in scaling up the income.
