Just a quick question.

I was reading around on here that people sell their tumblr accounts on here (which have a high amount of followers) and it got me thinking..

How much do people actually pay for a tumblr account and how many followers would the account be required to have?

I personally would pay about $5 for every 10k followers. But it all depends on how much traffic they actually get everyday. You can have the followers but they might not be visiting the page at all.
 
Id be interested in buying tumblr followers if anyone knows of a service for that

It's more about social proof and the prestige. People are more likely to 'like' a page if it already has what they perceive to be a large following.

$5 per 10k? LOL! That couldn't be anything further from the truth. If the followers are really active they would be worth approx. $5 per k. So that would be $50 for an active 10k. About 1/2 of my current income comes from 2 tumblr blogs. One with 15k and one with nearly 33k. You can make a lot of money from Tumblr and Pinterest. 2 overlooked social networking sites.
