Hi!

I have a website that is relatively new. It's been around for 3-4 months and I haven't built any links to it yet but I'm going to.

My question is, how do I build a natural link profile for such a new website? Do I start of with a few low DA & Trafic links
and then keep buying better and better links? How many links can I buy every month and not get punished by google?

Thanks!

what you should pay attention to mostly are the anchors used,
start with some decent links with branded/naked anchors to the homepage,

when it comes to the links themselves, you don't really need anything specific to avoid other than the heavy spammy ones,
you can start with web 2.0s, pbns, guest posts... without any problems,

the authority in question is not a problem as well as long as the links/websites are not spammed and have minimal one to make a kick,

it would be even better if you could get niche relevant links to gain more topical relevancy/authority

you need to start slowly, and maintain a good link building velocity.

Since your site is new and has no backlinks yet, start with only a few (2-3) strong backlinks first 1-2 months, then increase their number gradually as the weeks go by. Make sure you also care about anchor texts, as this is very important in SEO. Initially, focus only on branded anchors (if your domain name is branded), otherwise only use variations of the URL and generic anchors.

At the same time, start getting some social signals to your site (you can be a bit more aggressive with these because social signals are basically social media promotion, and google have not banned social media promotions... yet). And also get some foundation links to your homepage to increase your domain's authority a bit....

Social media profiles to blog comments, blog comments to the money site. This is the best way so far, but hard to accomplish.

Start slow with forum links and web 2.0
Pinterest and Quora can give a push early on

Mix of Homepage/Inner Pages
Slow Progressive Link Velocity.

Thank me later ;)

To sum up you need to diversity your anchor profile as well as backlink profile. But do note that you only need to build good quality links and avoid the spammy ones.
