[Question] High quality Website backlink building strategy for Homepage

Hi , I just started building backlinks from some high-DA websites for some of my new products. Do I need to build backlinks from similar website for my homepage too?
For example for profile links, Do i need create for both product page and homepage? or just a product is enough and homepage will receive the authority?

I would actually point the profile links to the homepage instead of products' pages.

Also, I don't think that link juice flows upwards, but I'm not sure. I would need someone to confirm this for me, as well

ideally, yes because strong domains tend to rank better for future keywords they'll target because of their authority and trust with google

FYI profile backlinks are not “high quality” and people usually use their backlink profile and not Necessarily for link juice.

Both your home page and internal pages have equal relevance when it comes to link building. It is advisable to have backlinks spread around your website rather than send more links to your homepage only.

Point majority of the links to your homepage

Design your menu to include 4-5 important link locations, point your backlinks to your homepage.

Your top 4-5 categories will get the link power from your homepage.
In return, each of those categories should either include sub categories or products.

Have your most important products listed as featured inside those (sub) pages.
Think of it like a silo/pyramid.

This way, if you get whatever link from your homepage, a lot more pages will have the benefit.

I would build profile links to your homepage. It doesn't look natural to build them to inner pages. They aren't going to give much power, but they can help get your site out of the sandbox faster by making your site look more like a normal business. A normal business might create social media profiles, local citations, etc when setting up their site.
