Basically I received lots of DMs with some text like "How are u?" and a clickable image with a link description. But with NO links on it, and when u click on the it leads you to a CPA offer obviously.

Will leave an image so you can better understand.

How can this be done?? I'm tired of looking, it looks like some old facebook trick posts back in the days.

I found out 2 things that it uses the thumbnail and metadata from the site "Suicide girls" masked with some ".win" site. but it actually redirects you to I think an OGads locker.

HOW? Thank you :)

It depends on the the web site settings (setup actually).
For better understanding - try to send any youtube link in DM in IG - u will get the same result.
And honestly its super cool feature which really increases CR

I understand, but it's not like in FB where you can Paste the link and wait for it to load the preview and then delete link and send just the Clickable Preview. In Instagram you need to send the whole link and then the preview will load once sent.

I don't think they are even sending a "link" itself, I mean I know it is a link but they are managing to mask it somehow.

Are they not just sending a suicide girls link, which then includes a redirect script to send you to the offer?

I imagine it work similar to how tumblr lets you change the theme, which you can edit to include a meta / js redirect. The link crawler will just make an HTTP request, grab meta title / description and perhaps first <img...> tag for display.

Just a thought, no idea really. You'd need to monitor the HTTP requests made afterr clicking the link and seeing where the redirect is made, then pulling that page and analysing.
