Hi,
I have a question about a Go Daddy Auctions Expired Domain Purchase.

3 Days ago I bought a domain via Go Daddy auctions. I paid with paypal & got a confirmation, from Go Daddy an Paypal.

But since than, I can t see the domain in my domain list, or the payment in my payments list. Is this normal, does it take a while, and if so, how long?

Thanks for the help!

From the moment the auction ended it takes around 7-8 days to go into your account. In these days the original owner still has the right to renew and if this happens you will receive a refund. You can see when you will get the domain if you go in the godaddy auctions section and navigate to the 'won' tab.

kontim is right... i've bought a few domains with their expired domains service and it takes a few days to show up in your account.

I personally never experienced a case where the domain was renewed after i've bought the domain because maybe there's $100 or more fee to renew

Actually Godaddy say it takes 14 days to ensure that the last owner can renew the domain

If the domain still has not been put in your account you should call them as soon as possible.

The person who responded first is the correct one here. If you purchased the domain through GoDaddy Closeout Auctions then it will take a period of up to 7 days for it to show up in your account. If you bought the domain as a $5 closeout it may be quicker, but if you paid the full $12 then it's a week.

It takes from 1 to 2 weeks for it to be transferred to you. I have even waited 3 weeks once.. It depends on the owner of the website.
