[Question] freelancing how to start?

Hello, I have software engineering skills, I enjoy creating bots, scraping data from the web. I would like to do it as a freelancer. Could you please share some guidelines how I should start? Which freelancer websites is not saturated and how to find clients? I know that the questions are abstract, but I hope you can help me.

There are plenty of sites you can try on, the site is not important but the process is the same.
First you have to ask yourself what differentiates you from everyone else? Why should someone go with you instead of the next person?

I have over 350+ 5* reviews on the leading site in my country, first few jobs I took were very hard and for little pay - but I kept my professionalism and gave them great service.
In return they gave me good reviews, rinse and repeat this process. The more jobs and trust you have among the community, the more picky you can be with jobs - and the higher you can bid for tasks.

People generally will want to go with someone and pay a bit more if they are guaranteed a good result.

Creating bots and scraping data became much easier than ever these days. Your price should be competitive (even with 3rd world counties).

As mentioned above you need wait until you get the best and required number of reviews before you increase your service prices.
