Question for you e-commerce guys

I am in the research and studying stage of starting an e-commerce site. My main goal with this site is for it to be very long term and be my main flow of income within a relatively short time period. What would some of you guys say are some of the best themes for sites like this? Sites that are actual businesses and not just churn and burn or affiliate related. My main focus is bringing quality to my customers, not just product wise, but information wise. Therefore a user friendly site I feel is absolutely vital. Anybody that can help me out, it would be much appreciated.

Forget about "themes" and that nonsense. It completely depends on the niche of the product/service that you are offering. Some niches need a "fun/upbeat/exciting" look while some ecommerce sites need a more "professional" and "clean" feel.
