Question for Vultr users, do they charge per hour?

I have a bot that I need to run only 4 hours per month. My plan is to use Vultr package $40 per month.
Since I never used them before I'm not sure will they charge me $40 or only for usage of 4 hours?

By my calculation, it should cost me $0.060/h which is $0.24 per month for 4 hours of usage.
Is this correct?

Just found the answer in their faq. They charge the hourly rate for stopped instances too (it's logical because they reserve resources, don't know why I thought different), the only way is to destroy instance and create it again.
Seems like I will need to create a separated bot that will create, configure and destroy instance.

Maybe try and get your hands on a google cloud account. It has 300$ free tier credit, which lasts for a whole year and also they don't charge for paused instances. More importantly, if you only need 4h/month of runtime, you won't be exhausting the free credits over the year.

I think it's the same with Google, A stopped instance does not incur charges, but all of the resources that are attached to the instance will still be charged. - Source
Still, it's great because of $300 free for a 1st year. The thing is I already have 2 accounts I use for Wordpress, I can't use it because of resources(deployed $25/m packages on both).
I don't have credit cards to register more, as I know they don't accept VCCs. I'll try with Amazon AWS, not sure if free tier resources will be enough.

I will recommend DigitalOcean they gave you some free credits when you register - and you will have enoughtfor 1-2 months to test and see who's better.
