Firstly thanks for taking the time to answer - I am literally pulling my hair out
I completed an online PDF form a couple of months ago which I had to print and take to an office to prove that I had submitted the form. There is an ID on that form that I desperately need. Of course I can call on Monday and find out the ID but it would be really helpful to find the ID before then as I am trying to find out the status of the application that I had submitted using said form. I was dumb enough to give them the print out but I did not keep a note of the ID. And no.. there is no way on their website to retrieve the ID if you have forgotten it.
So I got to thinking, if I am sending an online PDF to my printer, surely some sort of cache of the document occurs? This of course could be completely wrong but it made sense in my head! After lots of Googling and vague information, I figured it was time to come and ask the smart guys. If I can locate a cached copy of the PDF, I can in theory, view the PDF and nab the ID.
Thanks again and wherever you are, hope your weekend is great!
