Hey blackhaters,

What is the value of having only 1 backlink to your money site on a PBN, if I have 2 backlinks pointing to 2 different sites does that split the power of the links to 50/50, or the value is almost the same (let's say it only dilutes 20% of both links in relation to the power of having only 1 link) or does it only starts to dilute highly when you have more than 10~ links on a site ?


Opinions of people who have hands-on experience are preferred.

I don't have exact numbers, but it's definitely not like OBL 10 means 10% of the power of OBL 1. With a large number of outgoiing links, there is certainly some dilution, but I doubt that 1 link or 2 links makes any noticable or measurable difference.
 
To my knowledge and testing there is difference between 3 links and 10 links. The questions is does having an additional link splits up the power 50/50.

As a rule of thumb, I will also say no more than 10 links.

I would say, 1 link from an article to your money site is only the safest approach. And yes, if you have 2 back links pointing to two different sites, it will start diluted then. Here, I'm also not sure about the ratio.

And nothing screams a PBN post like one link to one site, what I recommend is 1-3 other natural links to relevant authoritative sites. Wikipedia is the often recommended link destination. HuffingtonPost or similar news outlets are also great. Hope it helps you. Best Wishes - BB

I'm not sure that it will splits up the power 50/50. If you want to get the power of PBN, don't add additional link then (unless the additional link pointing to authoritative sites).

I believe link juice is a fixed value. It decays when you put morel links as opposed to a single link. So a single homepage link will pass greater link juice than 2 links to totally different sites.
 
You are absolutely right, home page links will provide lifetime juice ( as long as the PBN / post alive ).

The problem with more links is that you're diluting the link juice more and more.

PBN's should supplement your other link building efforts, but shouldn't supercede important authority building activities such as building and cultivating relationships within your industry, and writing content on your blog. If 100% of your inbound links are coming from PBNs, then you're playing with fire.

Keep your PBN links between 5-20% of your overall link profile, so you should be pretty safe.

The old way of thinking about this is to use a purely mathematical distribution meaning break down the number of links and dilute the links that way.

But according to the recent outtakes and people's experiences, this is no longer the case.

The link use being pushed is now contextual.

It depends on the quality of the existing link, the quality of the links going in and niche-relevance.

There are lot of other practice at play so using a purely mathematical approach is not going to cut it.

You will be sorely disappointed if you are going to assume that this is going to break down using a simple percentage.

I wish things were that easy.
 
I don't believe in link dilution for a few outbound links unless you have hundreds on a page.
