Rank & Rent with Pay-Per-Call works by building a local lead-gen website not a fake business.
Use a neutral brand name (service + city), publish helpful local service content, and rank it. Add a call-tracking number to capture leads.
Once calls come in, rent the leads to real local businesses and get paid per call or monthly.

rank and rent only works well when you choose a niche with real buyer intent and not too many local competitors.

for rank and rent, write the site as a real local business offering the service, with local keywords, service pages, and clear calls to action don’t invent fake brands.

You don’t need a fake brand. Just make the site look like a local service page for that niche, show reviews, service info, and contact

Create the site as a generic local brand (not pretending to be a real company) and focus on helpful service-area content that attracts leads. Once it ranks, you can rent it to a real business or forward calls transparently.
