Question for Facebook Group Owners!

I’m starting to invest into Facebook groups. There’s a person selling me a group with 87,000 members in the entertainment niche.

He doesn’t have any other niche, but let’s say I buy this group and change the name/niche. I’ll accept the fact that I’ll lose a chunk of members.

If I choose a niche let’s say car for example, will I have a good chance of ranking at the top and getting organic members? My plan and goal is to change to the niche I want (I have a monetization idea) and start getting organic members for that niche.

My question is, will changing the niche still keep my group at the top of the rankings because of the amount of members?

Is that allowed al all?

rather buy a group in your niche if you care about your project.

If the niche stays same, I think just a name change won`t effect much. By the way where do you buy legit Facebook groups?

Advertise your group with a page likes campaign. You should get 0.01 per like with a decent ad. Here's an exaple: http://prntscr.com/smapv8. 13k likes, started running on $1 a day on january. Still warming up the account, you can do this for $50 a day and achieve the same result in 2 days. It's well worth it creating your own.

Well actually, I wasn’t being specific enough. Sorry. The niche is broad. Well the owner told me it’s not really niche down. But the niche that I’m changing it to could benefit those members in the group since I’m planning on changing it to a marketplace.

I do care That’s why I asked^ I was hoping that changing the niche and fixing up the group and posts would help with rankings in the niche I want.

I got lucky! I contacted a social media service person and he told me he has a group available for sale. If you’re planning on contacting groups directly, be safe because I read that Facebook is strict when it comes to selling/buying groups.

Actually, this was one of my plan but my Facebook’s advertising account is disabled. While I don’t have the budget to purchase an ad account, my best option is to buy a group and grow it. Growing it starting from 0 takes too long for me.

Look, all existing members are for a specific interest. That is why if you post something you get engagements on it. But if you change the nich you will loss good portion of the members. Some will remain, maybe they have interest on it too.

So, it will help you to start with something rather than nothing.

If you need a new ad account, go on one of your family/friends facebook account, create two business managers and 2 ad accounts. Link the business manager to your personal facebook and remove the business managers from theirs. But never advetise on your personal.

How much are you paying for the group ?
