Bro, I think you should be careful with investing money with people you don't know well. It's possible that the guy from Bangladesh might not have been reliable. You should always do some research before putting your money in any kind of investment.
Like BTB said, I knew the guy and had done hundreds of thousands of dollars in transactions together over 3+ years.
maybe he fucked up while swapping the $ with someone, govt and other parties were too busy handling the protests and crowd tbh it was a hell of a situation here but there was no hijack or anything happened like you mentioned, elites who were connected with the gov and politicians were at a edge of fall and their only goal was to get the fuck out of this country, only option for them was jail which a lot of guys eventually ended up.
while there was a internet blackout we all have faced loses in our businesses specially people who are into internet marketing i lost 2 clients in that time and a few other losses occurred.
so maybe your guy got fucked by brokers or he lied cause most of the local crypto communities are filled with unaware crypto investors, unlimited scammers and fake signal sellers, that's the crypto scenario in here
I'm not sure exactly what happened, so many ifs - maybe we'll never really find out - but he was heavy in the payoneer exchange space.
He's worked with them for 3 years and change... that constitutes knowing them.
