Question for creating proxy

I have a windows 8 computer at another house that is on a basic router etc connected to the internet. How can I use this computer as a proxy? I basically just need a proxy for my instagram bot. I have remote access to the computer through google remote access. New to this please help.

Could you be more specific. The computer I will be accessing is about 100 miles away at another house.

In that case just install some proxy software on it. For socks you can use a ssh backconnect through cygwin. Or just google for windows proxy servers, that would be the easiest.

Why would you need to setup a proxy when you have remote access? Why can't you just run the tool on the remotely accessed machine?

The bot would make me pay for another account. I can only add a proxy. Running GMT2

I don't understand what you just said. Just add a proxy, what does "the bot" have to do with anything?

He asked why I couldnt just run the bot application on another machine. I have been looking around on the net I get pretty confused trying to set up a proxy. Any help would be appreciated.

It must be a single user license and i guess he's running it on one machine already, that's why he can't run it on another one remotely.

To OP:
There are different methods to setup a proxy, you can find multiple threads on BHW on the subject, fatboy posted one too.
But it will be probably easier for you to just buy one. If you were to use the remote machine as a proxy, it should run at all times, so what you would be sparing on proxy costs, you would be paying to electricity.

Exactly, you don't need a proxy setup. You just need to connect to the PC with an RDP software that's all.

However, if you want to setup your own proxy server, besides the proxy server setup, you will need to get also some IPs.

So the best thing to do is to use an RDP and to connect to your pc remotely.
