Hey there, I've poked around this forum before but I haven't been back in a couple of months because I've been busy. I have a number of online things going on to make money, but I never make very much. (Example, I make about $100 every 4 months on zazzle selling graphics, about $100 a year (pitiful I know) from adsense on my blogs, and maybe $100 a month on Fiverr if I work really REALLY hard). My lack of real income has been fine before because I've been a stay at home mom and my husband made the big money, but now he's kicking me and my four year old out basically because he's interested in another woman and wants to divorce me for her. I'd change that if I could, and I've tried hard, but he won't budge. Anyhow, the point is now I'm in need of real money. We live in a small town and it's hard to find employment here, though I did go to a job interview today for a part time job that won't bring in much income. I have no credit, no money saved to get into an apartment or put down on one of the cheap houses here (yeah, the housing market really really tanked here, if I had 47k I'd be in a house down the street).

I need a legitimate, honest way to make really good money online with no money to start with. I can do graphic design, I can do social media (that's how I'm making a little money on Fiverr currently), and I'm working on bulking up my empire avenue account so I can eventually start selling more services on Fiverr that I can get other people to do for free (ex 10 likes on someone's fb page). I was wondering if you knew of any other really easy and not time consuming services I can offer on Fiverr. In the past I've offered article writing services and got lots of orders, but for $3.88 spending 45 minutes writing a 500 word article for someone for their blog just doesn't cut it when I have to provide for myself and my daughter.

I know there are big fiverr sellers out there selling stuff that takes them no time at all to send to their buyers. I'm looking for advice for gigs like that that I can offer. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. We are in SERIOUS trouble here.

    Thanks

If you know how to do social media, i.e. run FB and Twitter accounts for small businesses, I think your services would be very much in demand and for far more than you could make on Fiverr?

Although I freelance it isn't something I am doing because I'd have to learn it, while without learning more ATM I can freelance with other stuff, but if I was in your position it is definitely something I would be looking at. I think you can earn very well with it as it is a market not many people know how to do well.

Do you know of a good place to put up my gig aside from fiverr for social media where I can get more? I know there are big companies that do this for big money. I'm getting forty five a month right now to run one guy's twitter account via buffer and add a few things a day to his facebook page, but I'd like to earn a lot more than fory five per client per month.

What about putting ads on local sites like Craigslist advertising your service? Or maybe talking to local business owners? Even if you just got a couple of guys on board at $100 per month you could offer them a referral fee - i.e. they recommend you to other small business owners and you pay them a percentage of your fee for as long as the referral remains a client.

It kind of depends where you live I suppose - but my town is not big and I had a local bar owner asking me if I could do this for him the other day - and I guess given your current situation even you just charged $100 a month per client it would help you out until you get on your feet.

That sounds like a good idea. I have advertised on CL in the past but it never brought in consistent business, though that was for graphics.

    Hello.

Sorry to hear about your husband - He is an Idiot.

Anyway I'm fiverr Level 2 seller and I have gigs for Social Signals - Pinterest and Also Logo animation, Video presentations.
In both I have great results but Most money comes from Video Animation - from 15 - 90 $ per order and 1k per month.
Making videos online from free resources like GoAnimate and also adding some effects with Aftereffects.

What graphic are you doing? I'm planning to scale up and sell videos in my own websites also maybe in forums like BHW and graphic designers will be needed.
And what kind of social media?

    Thanks

    Martin

He's not an idiot... I just don't know what to do to make it work.

I can do just about anything with Photoshop. For my own purposes and for business I've done banner making, craigslist advert design, photo touch-ups, graphic manipulations, photo editing, e-book cover design, manga drawings (though I'm not very good, but I do have Manga Studio to do my drawings in), removing objects from photos, content slider images, and on and on and on.

For social media, I can manage people's twitter and facebook pages. I'm sure I could learn Pinterest, but I haven't had a reason to get into that yet.

1K a month is huge! I'd love to be making that online so I could continue to stay at home with my 4 yo daughter and home school her. It would certainly save on gas money to and from school and work, and I thought about saving on gas money to the store if we grew our own food in a backyard green house.

If you need a graphic designer martinovich, I'm your go to person. I'm also proficient in Adobe InDesign, but I only have access to that when I have the money to pay for the monthly subscription to Adobe. If I had the money to do that, I'd be doing video editing on Fiverr all the time. I know those video gigs are huge. I've ordered many video intros from Fiverr myself for my own YouTube account. I wish now, that I'd had the foresight 7 years ago when creating my big YouTube videos, to make them free of copyrighted content so I could monetize them, because I have a pretty sizable YouTube following and I'm sure I could have made adsense income there.
