[QUESTION] Does Unprivating a Profile Show up as a Follow Request Being Accepted?

When you unprivate a profile on Instagram, all the requested followers accepted. My question is, if you unprivate your account to accept all requests, do the users get notified? It would make sense for it to not do it because the account isn't even private.

I'm 99% sure that they get a notification. I had a private account that had ~500 requests, one day I made it unprivate and then accepted them all, and over the next day or so I lost ~50 of them, so they must've known somehow.
