[Question] Content ID and Monetization

There is a channel named "Lof" that posts Fortnite montages along with a popular song playing in the background. All of the channel's videos are ID CLAIMED...
Does a channel need to be monetized in order to generate income for Content ID claimers?

1) Does the license owner receive money from a channel that is not monetized? Would a video from a unmonetized channel play ads if it has been claimed?

2) Do CLAIMERS receive the same amount for 1K views as a regular youtube creator would, or just receive a percentage?

YouTube displays pre roll ads on Content ID claims after it reaches 10k views on the video

1. Yes, monetization is not necessary but 1k subs and 4k watch hours is necessary to display skippable and non-skippable ads otherwise only banner ads will show up.
2. Again, only banner ads will show up while the views on each video claimed is <10k, after 10k views, all types of ads will be unlocked, and the music owner will start earning from the views on that video. P.S. the revenue from Content ID claimed video is always lesser than YPP monetization.

Sometimes you will see ads on already copyrighted content that's been caught but the owners of the content originally just decides to keep the video up but keep the revenue from the views
