[Question] Cheap and reliable upload hoster for adult content

Hey BHW,

i think the subject is self explanatory

I'm in search of THE upload hoster with the best price-benefit-ratio.

I know a bunch, and read a lot. But too many informations clogging my brain to make a final decision and decided to choose after discussing on BHW.

Adjectives should be: Cheap, reliable, fast and .. "ignoring"

If they start deleting everything after the first complaint,.. not good.

This thread was more about things like.. you know.. mega, rapidshare..

While I'm writing this I remembered the word for it: FILEHOSTERS *faceslap*

However, thank you very much for solving the problem! This company looks just PERFECT!
 
Consider Mega.nz, Google Drive, or MediaFire for a good price-benefit ratio, but check their terms of service and user experiences before deciding.

Mega already on my list.
Google.. hell nah.

But I'll add definitely check MediaFire. Thanks man.
 
There are some file hosting service ; sendbig.com(it offers 30gb file sharing for free), Microsoft Onedrive, Amazon drive, Google drive, pCloud, Drop Box.
 
Has anyone tried to use hetzner to store their content and perhaps make it reachable via reverse proxy to end users?

A few of them. It came down to six hosters. From now on it's trial and error..

One big tip for adult content: The Chinese (as usual) dgaf

See above. I'll go into more detail when everything's done.

I chose different hosters and different ad-networks. So everything's spread widely across the top 10 of every league..

I got PPC, PPS, Ads etc.

Thank you very much. I was thinking about free Cloudflare for the start to reduce the fixed costs.
I got a very got hoster now, but still wanna "delay the problems" if there'll be any.

Not myself, but talked to some people that have and it always ended in.. well.. it just ended..
 
identify your big league competitors
see where they are uploading
use that.

one thing to note about cloudflare, if you ever get a dmca, they will immediately kick you off and blacklist your domain.

Ironically I watch the (few) competitors VERY closely.. and they change their upload-hosters every quarter.. :-D
Might just follow..

In regards to Cloudflare.. yeah.. was afraid that this would be the case.. :-(


No one will claim DMCA.. (or is it file DMCA?!? \°/ ..welp.. ykwim), but the content, from a legal perspective, is in the darker gray area.


Any better solutions? To be honest.. I don't know nothing about reverse proxy implementing/installing.. I was told here that it prolly would make sense and after doing more research I found the $0 cloudflare solution. :-/
 
are you hosting images or videos?
for images any off the shelf offshore server should work. videos are lots of bandwidth and would need more expensive equipment.

this thread is 6 months old how much traffic are you getting?
without knowing anything about your method i would just pick a img/video host mentioned on that link and start uploading & embedding to your site.

To add a little structure to this thread:

- I'm uploading the content as .zip (both img and vid) / So I'm not primarily interested in this kind of hoster
- BUT, funny enough I created another thread 30 secs ago :-D , where I asked for just this (but only if they pay for the preview, as my content is high premium - will take a deeper look at this list)
- Any chance you know of a cheap and "stoic" reverse proxy possibility?

if ur uploading .zip, look at file hosts on that same url above. as you care about dmca, do not chose a usa host
what do you need reverse proxies for? don't need if all youre doing is running a site hosted on offshore server and are providing ur traffic with links to an offshore file host.
i have purchased from stormproxies in the past, very good. u can prob find bhw discount codes as im pretty sure the webmaster is a member here. might have a sales thread in marketplace.

If will take a look at stormproxies.

Yeah.. no.. won't take USA. I talked to some guys from russia, moldovia, czech republic, malaysia..

The content is "special" and there will be preview pictures with could easily f*ck sh*t up. That's why a reverse proxy is a must, to complicate possible reports.
 
i think the best money wise would be to get a bulletproof vps and just use a script for uploading and sharing files off github.
