[QUESTION] Apk Reskinning

Hello, beautiful people from BHW

I've been a member for a while now, but I've been lurking all this time. I always wanted my first post to be something helpful; yet, here I am asking for help. I'm here because I know that the people from BHW are the only guys that can answer this kind of question the way I want it.

Recently I reskinned a apk game entirely. I just not reskin it, I changed every single mention to the original owner / company in the codes too (except for the .so files - could be my doom; or it might be just another file). And now that I have a completely changed game in my hands, even with new features. I'm wondering; should I publish it? Actually... CAN I publish it without getting banged in the back by Google or the original developer?

I want to hear your opinion on the risks this might mean; if it would end in a legal dispute or simply Google banning me. And if it is even possible to get away with it. I've seen you recommending buying a source code; but why not simply pirate it and profit like a villain?

You can try it on a fake google play developer a/c and yes its VERY risky as if you skinned a big brand they may come after you, thats why I reccommend you to use a fake a/c.
Also the people selling source code are the ones that creates that app/game and sells to other devs so its fine if they are selling their ows source code.

I think the risky thing was more of a reality check. There are some factors however that might be important in keeping me safe. I'm from a Third World country. Law is really slow here; unless the original dev really get furious enough to go through all the pain of a lawsuit here.

Now that you mention it; any idea how I could create a fake acc? If possible, could you give me some leads on how I can manage to do that? The credit card registration is blocking my way.
