Hello! I just recently got back into Instagram and I am having a tough time getting back in the groove. Around 2 years ago, I created an account and bought a shoutout to get it started. This shoutout got me around 1k followers and after that over the next couple of months I hit the popular page and gained around 60k followers. I eventually sold this account for $1800. I was wondering if shoutouts are still worth it? So far on this new account I have just been following accounts who follow big accounts in my same niche. Is there any tips or help that I could get, to get back in the swing of things. Thank you.

It depends, sometimes shoutouts work but personally I dont use them much. I build new accounts for clients and mainly I use my main account which is over 600K followers to promote the ones that I create. As an example I am building a new account for a client which I have it with 26K followers in just a month. All real and high quality followers, the engagement is amazing, between 1K and 1.5K likes per picture which I consider really good.

Shoutouts can cost you up to $600 in top accounts and I dont think they are worth, they charge the money, post the picture and they dont care if it goes well or not, they just think about the money. For me it is more about a win win relationship. If clients are happy I will get more work.
