So, I have a service website where I sell a couple of packages and as of now I'm using Paypal as the check out for payments. I'm wondering if there is a company that allows you to take payments via paypal and other processors without actually having a Paypal account yourself.

Any advice would be appreciated! Cheers.

Maybe try 2Checkout. They are mainly for people who want to accept credit cards, but they also allow you to accept Paypal payments. When a customer buys from your website and selects the Paypal option, they would be making a payment to 2checkout's Paypal account directly (so you don't need a Paypal account yourself), and then 2checkout pays you via bank transfer.

I think that to accept Paypal payments you do actually need a Paypal account yourself. Other people, like 2C, can provide you with a gateway to Paypal, but you still need to have a Paypal account. Hope this makes sense.

2Checkout, Avangate and Fastspring are the first ones that I remember.

Sorry for diggin up an old topic, but perhaps there are any new payment providers since op posted the thread, that process paypal payments without requiring the recipie to have a paypal account?

Are the fees something to be concerned about?

2CO is not an option because it requires a paypal account to receive payments via paypal...
