First of of I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong section I looked around and couldn't find anywhere else to post it. I've been working on wordpress and cannot find a clear answer on what's the difference between a post and a menu? What one is better for seo and to use?

What do you mean? A post is a blog post/article and a menu is the site navigation. Could you explain what you are trying to do and why the terms are confusing?

A post is a content update to your site. A menu is just a form of navigation, ex: Home, About, Contact.

OH crikey, I suggest you Google "wordpress basic tutorial" and spend several hours reading.

Menu - Site navigation.
Post - We could say it's Post or Article or content.
If still don't understand, you can watch on YouTube about it then you will understand.

As mentioned in posts here aswell, a menu is just to navigate your visitors where the post is to write your content.
Both are super important for your SEO tho.
You should see your navigation menu as internal links, which is kinda important if you're sending links to the root domain.

So start by creating a good organised menu, and then make a few good long lenght posts and you're set :)

First of all be clear with your question.
A post is just an article post on your website whereas menu is used to navigate the visitors to other pages of website.

Post and menu are not same. Post signifies the blog or article listed on a page and menu is just the navigation of the website.

When you post using wordpress, you create a message for people to see on your website. When you utilize a menu, you organize links within you website for people to click on and see your pages.

Hey OP,

As others said, post and menu are entirely different. If you want to write the contents for your blogs, that implies to post. Then the navigation thing such as Home, Contact, About etc which are referred as Menu.
Simply, the menu shows where you need to go to your site. And, The post describes what you are going to describe anything.

Hope you understand what we people are said. Best of luck buddy.

Well, in accordance to your questions I strongly recommend to do research on web basics.

I think you meant page vs posts instead of posts vs menu as menu is just navigation. Posts are dynamic and pages are static.
