Question about wordpress

    I want to upload some images with a file attached so if someone push it it will download the file the only problem is that it doesn't support the files i want to upload and if i want to upload the images on the wordpress is pain in the A s s! So tell me can i upload them on hostgator (my host) and somehow take the url and copy it to the image source? Where is the image source of the file when its uploaded on ftp?

    Just upload the file with FTP, your host will provide instructions how to do this. The image source is declared in the "post" or "page" which was created in the wordpress admin control panel. To update the image, login to your wordpress control panel and you will be able to update the value of the image source attribute.
