How many programs can i run on different usernames at a same time in windows server 2003 ?

for example, i create 4 admins in Windows Server 2003

    Admin# 1: Yahoo messenger ID 1
    Admin# 2: Yahoo messenger ID 2
    Admin# 3: Yahoo messenger ID 3
    Admin# 4: Yahoo messenger ID 4

is that possible ? or those usernames in windows will be logged off when i try to run a copy of yahoo messenger on another username in windows ?

    Thanks

Well the answer to your question can get a little complex. True, Server 2003 is a multi-user operating system, but you can't "switch" users from the same terminal as you can in Win XP. Once you log-off, all the the processes that particular user was running are closed. To do this, you would need multiple instances of Remote Desktop running at the same time, all the time. (I'm going off what I remember from writing MS Certs along time ago tho, so I could be wrong)

As far as I know, Yahoo Messenger only allows one user to be signed in and running the IM client per machine. Any additional users will be unable to login and run the client in parallel with the first user.

But... I vaguely remember seeing a registry hack that allows multiple users to log in and run YM at the same time on the same machine. I think it also allows a single user to sign-in to multiple IM accounts at the same time. I can try to dig it up for you if you like.

    Hope it helps,
