I currently have about 30 websites on a dedicated server on Godaddy. They are all on the same IP address. As I have read several articles on BHW, it is best to have a dedicated IP per website. Is there an easy way to assign these websites with different IP's?

It is only an issue if you are doing that as part of a linking scheme... If they are separate websites that don't cross link as a network you should have no trouble with having them all hosted on one server.

You don't have to have the sites on dedicated IP.

Now if you are on a shared IP with a ton of other godaddy customers its a good idea to get at least 1 dedicated IP to put all your sites on. reason is if another customer on that same IP goes and gets the IP banned you will have issues with your site.

If you are planning on selling products its recommend to have a dedicated IP,

You will be fine with that. If you look at any shared hosting plan with any host you will see hundreds if not thousands of sites depending on the host on a same IP.

if you want to provide great servers to your customers I would not recommend more than 100 sites on an IP. That is just me. I would look at getting an ip monitor so if your IP gets blacklisted you can get it fixed asap so it doesn't hurt your customers sites.

I have never used godaddy for hosting so not sure if they notify you if you have an ip that is blacklisted or if you have someone on your server that is spamming and so on.

    Best of Luck

Note that you do need a dedicated IP if you use SSL.
